Welcome, I’m Katja. I help busy working mums who struggle with stress, anxiety and confidence to take charge of their health by introducing the ancient knowledge of Ayurveda & Yoga into their modern lives.

You have established your career, started a family, created a lovely home and can go on holiday. You have seemingly everything you wanted but are unable to enjoy it.

Instead of feeling energised, calm, and inspired, you find yourself stressed out by trying to fit everything in. You always feel heavy and tired, too tired to exercise, cook, or even decide what to eat. You feel bloated and constipated. You have tried all diets and fads, but nothing seems to work. You get worked up easily and snap or shout at your kids and partner over small things, feeling guilty about all of it. Sounds familiar?

The ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and Yoga offers step-by-step processes for setting up a daily routine and Yoga practice so that you can enjoy life again, no matter what it holds in store for you.

Welcome. I am Katja Patel, founder of Zest for Yoga & Ayurveda.

My Yoga journey began over 25 years ago, when I fell in love with the feeling of lightness, spaciousness and calm after my very first session. 

After moving to London in 2000, I started teaching Hatha Yoga to support women's health and wellbeing throughout their different life phases through Yoga sessions and workshops.

As a trained Yoga Teacher Trainer with the BWY, I am offering regular 300/500 hrs Yoga Teacher Training Courses.

Ayurveda has been a part of my life as long as Yoga. I trained as an Ayurveda massage therapist in India with the Atmasantulana Village and Diet and Lifestyle Consultant here in London with Ayurveda Pura. I am offering regular Yoga & Ayurveda based courses, seasonal cleanses & consultations for diet and lifestyle related imbalances.
